Bigallet's Génépi syrup is delicious in lemonade, but also perfect for cocktails or as a topping for desserts. Mix 1 part syrup with 8 parts still or sparkling water for a refreshing drink. Combine it with green mint syrup for a wonderfully fresh cocktail. Santé!

Shelf life
This syrup can be stored for at least 2 years (even after opening), outside the refrigerator in a dark cupboard.

About Génépi

Génépi, a rare and precious plant. Fragile and delicate, génépi is a protected plant that grows from 1800 m altitude in the mountain range, on rocky slate slopes. It is related to absinthe and has subtlety in shape and taste. The génépi is harvested in mid-July and then dried in the dark for a month. The yellow flower, very aromatic, brings the taste, the stem gives colour to the syrup. Génépi is a local delicacy from the French Alps.
