Bigallet Pine bud syrup (Sirop Sapin) - 1 L

Natural freshness from the pine forests

Bigallet Pine bud syrup is made from a homemade infusion and distillate of young pine buds (bourgeons de sapin), picked in the Puy-de-Dôme region of France. Together with pure sugar from France, it creates a syrup with a distinct, woody character and a soft, fresh resin tone. A taste reminiscent of mountain air, fresh pine scent and a walk through the pine forest.

Sapin Flavor Profile

Pine bud syrup has a light, soft yellow color. In the aroma, fresh, resinous aromas emerge, characteristic of young pine buds. On the palate, you taste a deep, recognizable pine note with a subtle menthol-like freshness. The syrup is powerful but at the same time remains round and approachable, with a quiet, long finish.

Usage and dosage

Pine bud syrup is both refreshing in cold drinks and surprising in hot preparations.

  • Recommended ratio: 1 part syrup to 9 parts water.

  • Serving Ideas:

About Bigallet

Maison Bigallet has been making syrups in the French Alps since 1872, paying attention to pure ingredients and traditional methods. The pine bud syrup belongs to the line of plant syrups - flavors inspired by alpine herbs, flowers and aromatic plants.

Relationship to other spicy Bigallet flavors

Pine bud syrup fits nicely into the spicy and herbal Bigallet family.

  • Génépi syrup: traditional and mountainous, but with a more spicy, bitter base.

  • Vervein syrup: fresh, lemony and floral; lighter and softer than pine.

  • Elderflower syrup (Fleur de Sureau): aromatic, floral and slightly sweet; pairs well with the fresh resinous notes of pine.

For customers who love unusual, natural flavors from the Alps, pine bud syrup offers a unique, woodsy counterpart to these spicy classics.
