Bigallet Green Tea Mint Syrup (Sirop de Thé Vert - Menthe) - 1 L

Refreshing balance of green tea and mint

Bigallet Green Tea Mint Syrup combines a homemade infusion of green tea leaves with extracts of refreshing mint and natural mint leaves. The result is a subtle and balanced syrup that invites refreshing moments at home or in the hospitality industry.

Flavor Profile

  • Color: light yellow with a golden tone.

  • Scent: a fresh, delicate fragrance of green tea, combined with a distinct mintiness.

  • Flavor: the vibrancy of green tea is softened by the coolness of mint; the whole remains fresh and light, without leaning too heavily on the mint.

Usage & dosage

  • Recommended ratio: dilute 1 part syrup to 9 parts water.

  • Serving method: with cold water and ice cubes, easily make your own iced tea version. Can also be used in hot drinks or mocktails for extra freshness.

  • Number of glasses: 1 liter of syrup yields about 45 glasses at this dosage.

Ingredients

  • Sugar from France

  • Water

  • Infusion of green tea leaves

  • Infusion of mint leaves (menthe poivrée)

  • Natural aroma of green tea

  • Extract of mint

Nutritional values per 100 ml of syrup:

  • Carbohydrates: 75 g, of which sugars: 75 g

  • Fats, proteins and salt: negligible present

  • Sugars: 8.3 g per 100 ml of beverage

Serving tips

  • Combine with a few mint leaves and ice for your own "homemade ice tea."

  • Add a slice of lemon for extra freshness and a subtle citrus note.

  • Use as a base for a mocktail: for example, with sparkling water and a sprig of mint.

  • In hot drinks: a splash of syrup in hot water or loose tea gives a smooth and aromatic green tea-mint infusion.

Relationship to other Bigallet flavors

Green Tea Mint syrup pairs nicely with other herbal and herbal Bigallet syrups:

  • Menthe (sirop de menthe): the pure mint version, more intense and less tea-like.

  • Vervein syrup: mild, lemony vervein, lighter and less "tea."

  • Fleur de Sureau (elderflower): floral and aromatic; when combined with this green tea mint can become surprisingly fresh and complex.

Why this syrup is a good choice

  • For those who know and appreciate Lipton's classic Ice Tea Green, but are looking for a more artisanal, concentrated and natural version.

  • Unlike Lipton Ice Tea Green (based on water with a relatively low tea concentration), this syrup offers a stronger tea sensation combined with mint. (Lipton Ice Tea Green contains green tea extract and is low in sugar).

  • By diluting with water, you can control the strength of your drink: more sparkling water for a light iced tea, or less for a more intense mocktail.
